Kantar Insights Mobile, a division of Kantar South Africa (Pty) Ltd (Kantar) is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection and privacy laws in South Africa when you access the Kantar Insights Mobile site (the Site) on your mobile device or on any other electronic device to complete a survey prepared by Kantar Insights Mobile (a Digital Survey). Kantar is ISO 20252 compliant.* Kantar’s interviewing and research processes also comply with the South African Market Research Association (SAMRA) code of conduct.
How does a Digital Survey work?
Once you have indicated that you wish to participate in a Digital Survey, you will receive a text message (SMS) or email, which is sent to the cell phone number or email address that you have provided for this purpose, containing a link to the Digital Survey. An SMS or email may also have been forwarded to you by someone you know. You may, at this stage, still decide whether you want to participate in the Digital Survey. You may also opt-out of receiving further communications from Kantar.
By clicking on the link contained in the SMS or email, you will be transferred to a web-based Digital Survey, which you will be required to complete.
You may be requested to verify your cell phone number or email address at some stage during the process of completing a Digital Survey. The other type of information collected by Kantar Insights Mobile in a Digital Survey is described in further detail below.

If, at the end of the Digital Survey, you indicate that you would like to be contacted again to participate in another Digital Survey, then we will use your personal information, including your contact information and demographic characteristics, as well as your special personal information such as your race or ethnic group, to create a segmented database of respondents, which we will use for the purposes of recruiting respondents, including you, to participate in further Digital Surveys. In this regard, respondents will be categorised in accordance with their personal information, such as their age, gender, ethnic origin and income. We will not share this segmented database with any third party.
You may notify us at any point if you would like us to remove your personal information from this segmented database and if you would like to opt-out of receiving any further communication from us.Communicating with you

Collecting the data of minors
